66 CHAMBERLAIN, DIANE DREAM DAUGHTER
St. Martin's Press 2018 1250087309 / 9781250087300 First Edition, First Printing. HARDCOVER in Brand New jacket.
St. Martin's Press 10/2/2018. New hardcover. First Edition, First Printing. in Brand New jacket. Store pick: I loved this book! It is a fascinating story about a young woman who is a widow living in the Outer Banks of N.C. in 1970. The concept of the book is time travel - how chosen people can move between certain points in time. I know! I can't begin to understand time travel and am pretty sure I don't believe it is even possible. But, this book is so beautifully written with many twists and surprises throughout that somehow you are able to forget that time travel does not really exist. You are so caught up in the story of this young woman who will do anything to save the life of the unborn child she is carrying. With references to many life changing events from the Vietnam War on up to 9/11, you will be amazed at how different life in America is in 2001 for someone who has traveled from 1970. This book is one I could not put down. I highly recommend it! Great for book group discussion. -Sandy S., store volunteer
